The family rowhouse complexes consist of 25 two bedroom units and 20 three bedroom units . Three of the two bedroom units are modified for people with special needs and are wheelchair accessible. Each unit has one bathroom and is located on the upper level (except the special needs units are all on one floor). Each unit has only one parking space provided. Heating is forced warm air gas (recently replaced in the fall of 2015) and tenants are required to pay for all of their own utilities (heat, hydro, telephone, television). Both cable and satellite are permitted at these complexes. Tenants must supply their own fridge, stove, washer and dryer).

KLNPH is currently transitioning to smoke-free buildings. Tenants at all KLNPH buildings prior to January 01, 2012 who smoke in their units will continue to be allowed to do so under the grandfather agreement in the new policy. However, as of January 01, 2012 new tenants are required to sign a lease that stipulates they understand the buildings are transitioning to become 100 percent smoke free and they must agree to a no smoking clause.
